I realize the blog has been kid heavy lately. I'm on a post family visit letdown right now. My sister, brother-in-law and nephew were here last week. I'm bummed that so many of the people I love live so far away. I'm wishing everyone would abandon their careers/dreams/friends/community and move here. That shouldn't be too much to ask.Oh...happy St. Patrick's Day.

Christy, I told Allison this but I wanted you to know also that your posting and pictures makes it a little easier to keep up with you guys and the girls lives in between visits. I really appreciate what you are doing. It makes it less painful being a distant grandparent. Thank you so much.....we love you. Big PaPa
I know what you mean. I'm keeping my fingers tightly crossed that Rye and I will move back to NC this summer -- it would be so great to be near my family again!!
