Last night I crawled in bed with my iPod to listen to the podcast from this week's
This American Life. It was a rebroadcast of a show they did about a year ago that won a
Peabody Award. Earlier tonight, I typed out a long, political, anti-war post, but decided it was too premenstrual. Instead I'll just let the
show stand on its own. Please listen if you get a chance.
On the home front, Elly is determined to crawl. She gets on her haunches and rocks back and forth. She gets so much momentum going, but just falls flat. Canon and I have started cheering, "Go, Elly! Go, Elly!" There is so much confidence in her little face. Each time her eyes seem to say, "maybe this time." Maybe tomorrow, sweet girl.

So adorable! Love the photo. Give Elly a kiss from me.
Hey Christy. I just figured out how to post comments and I'm really not sure how they got beachbums for my blogger display name- anyway it's me, Merissa, so you'll who's commenting! I left a comment on the post about dreaming from the other day. Your Elly is so cute.
What a cute little girl. Cora just started crawling within the past week. Yea for the crawlers!
