color week: blue

------------------------------------------------------------------
Although there were quite a few drug-induced tears today, Canon made it through her MRI. And a happy call from our pediatrician let us know Canon's back is just fine. Things here are pretty good.

I'm just so happy to see that little girl in the navy blue smiling and healthy. Wonderful news.

So glad to hear that Canon's test came back normal!

I think I drove past that water tower today...where is it? I almost stopped, but didn't.

Great news about Canon!

Also really like the water tower picture - blue framed by blue.

Love the perspectives and the pretty blues, but I agree with everyone else—a happy little girl in blue is best :)

So glad to hear Canon is gonna be ok! What a relief!

And I missed out on color week. My photos from this weekend were all about kids. Without a focus on color. Oh well. I'll have to live vicariously through you!

I came to your site for color week, but am drawn by your stories of your little girl. So glad she is okay.

You wrote about how easy the loving part is yet how hard the protecting part is. Beautifully said and so true. There is a side of me that wants to wrap my little boys (one is now as tall as I) into my arms and protect them from all of the darts life will throw at them. My oldest is deathly allergic to peanuts and tree nuts and it is so hard to set him loose in the world. But as he is venturing out, my love for him, belief in him and trust that he will protect himself grows.

None of this came in the 'owners manual', did it?!
