My current musical addiction is this song. I've seen the movie a couple times and I can't get it out of my head. If you have seen the movie, what did you think?
I LOVED the movie. And every time I hear that song, I picture the entire cast doing their very funny Bollywood dance routine at the end of the movie. Good stuff.
When Alex and I were first married we only got four television channels. On the weekend one of the channels broadcast Bollywood films and Indian music videos. We would watch it for hours. It was our weekend tradition. I love a good Bollywood dance routine.
those were some good saturday's. the commercials for the local indian restaurants were awesome. the VO guy stumbled thru some english over footage of Indian food that had sat out over night on the buffet and taken the "lit by natural lighting" approach. so artsy. i like concord, but it needs more Indian channels.
my husband is so sick of me mindlessly singing that song! of course, I can only remember/pronouce the "jai ho" part. I can't stop. love, love, love the movie!

I know! I swear every year I won't watch the Oscars, but I am so watching this year to see the performance of this song.
I loved the movie, too.
I STILL HAVEN'T SEEN THIS MOVIE. Which is driving me nuts while I watch the Oscars right now. They are cleaning up.
Mental note: must see this film.
And I can't figure out why I haven't. I loved Shallow Grave. I loved Trainspotting. Why wouldn't I like this?
