Many bloggers are participating in NaBloPoMo (National Blog Posting Month). The idea is you have to post something everyday in November. Unfortunately, I was not able to participate because of my work schedule, but I love what this challenge is producing. Many of my favorite bloggers aren't the everyday kind. When they do post, their entries are usually very inspired, well-written and creative. But it's nearly impossible to keep this up everyday. Daily posting opens the door to a whole different world, a voyeuristic peak into everyday life. I love this!
So...in the spirit of the mundane, it was a very relaxing weekend at my house. Alex and Canon were in Georgia. I was supposed to be working, but instead I cleaned my house, spent some quality time with Elly and watched Proof, Rent and The Departed. I slept in until 9:00. I went to brunch here for my mom's birthday. And I tried to find something here to wear to the wedding, banquet or party I have coming up in the next few weeks.

Shopping for this fall and that wedding you have next fall in Chicago ... hahaha. Thanks for the glimpse into your weekend! I can't keep up with NaBloMoFo or whatever it's called either ... and I don't have work as the excuse! Oh well...
Hmm, we'll have to check that place out for dinner the next time we're in Concord and I love shopping at Anthropologie at North Lake mall! (just don't have much extra money to spend there now though) Hope you found something great!
Well if I'd known it was a national month, I'd have been keeping up with this. Maybe I'll just try and go till 12/12.
Sounds superbly mundane. Miss you.
