Canon is in Georgia again. Now that I have a good handle on balancing the girls, Canon's absence leaves a huge void. I miss her. I guess I never really thought of it before, but I miss her company. We are together all day long. Constant conversation. I also miss our daily routine. My day is centered around her schedule and activities. There are so many things I just don't do when she isn't here.++++++++++++++++++++
Lately Canon has been responding to a nickname. It's so funny to call out, "C-biscuit?" And hear, "Yes, mommy?" She seems to like it. I do too.
We've tossed around a few for Elly. Ellyphant, Ellyvator, El-train. Any votes or suggestions?

Lately, I've been calling Sam "Sambo" because he is so big and strong!
big, strong and can kick ass! Sambo is also a Russian combat martial art.
I vote for El-Train. Not quite as cool, but Riley is Whileena. C-Biscuit and El Train in the house, The east coast rappers.

I love El Train because of the Chicago reference and because it reminds me of that fast crawling motion she does across the floor, like a train!

We call our Ellie either Ellie-belly or E. She answers to any of them!
