Sometimes I find the whole idea of a friend baffling. I often feel so undeserving of these non-relatives who care about me. I'm not a very social person, so I don't have many friends. But the ones I do have, I hold dear.Then there is the best friend. My relationship with her is so different that the term itself seems inadequate. She has helped me up from life's punches, she has cheered loudly during the celebrations in my life and she has also been there for the everyday mundane. She's even willing to pose in the bathroom after a late-night movie date. My best friend.
