Basically, I was everything I didn't want to be for my high school reunion. I had envisioned an evening of the cool, calm and collected version of myself casually mingling with my former classmates. But it didn't turn out that way. I was surprisingly nervous. And to combat my nervousness, I had a few (too many) glass of wine.
Over the past four years, I have only been in one other social setting where alcohol was served. So...I was a bit out of practice in the social drinking department. A couple glasses of wine on an empty stomach and the loud, intoxicated version of myself made an appearance at this function. Embarrassing.
But I still had a great time. It was so much fun catching up with my old friends, the people I grew up with. Hopefully I'll be able to link to some pictures soon. Whew...I'm glad it's over.

I recently was a bridesmaid in a wedding where I had too much to drink...
I really made a fool of myself...
welcome to the club!
but I'm glad you had fun.
You had it together last night. You didn't seem out of control, you seemed more relaxed. Now a few to many drinks would be the "green drinks" you liked at senior week at the beach.
I had the best time last night, thank you so much for twisting my arm. You guys did a wonderful job.

Whatever... everyone had a great time. Thank you for all you did to get everything together!
Embarrassing? Doubtful. Fun? Definitely. Don't worry about getting loud and being drunk. I've been doing it for many years now and somehow manage to keep my friends.
