We went to Lazy 5 this past weekend too! How funny! I'll be posting my pics later this week.

I love the Lazy 5! I was cracking up listening to you gently plead to Alex not to get any closer, then bam. Animal and car contact. Glad it was a fun adventure and I hope your car is not injured too badly.

Oh.My.God. That is amazing. Was there actual damage to your car or just a good bump?

that's actually kinda scary.

I love the Lazy 5, but it can be dangerous. Riley was almost pecked in the face by an attack ostrich when she was 2! How bad was the car?

Ah yes, Lazy 5. It's always crazy when you go there. Next time, you should try the wagon ride. The animals come right up to your face and take food from your hand.

hahaha. Gotta love the Lazy 5. I too opt for the wagon ride, although those cows have crazy long tongues and will come right up to you and almost lick you off the wagon. I do not enjoy that. :)

this same exact thing happened to me with a brand spanking new car a few years ago! i must go there a few times a year, and that was my only experience with vehicular cowslaughter.

We have a place nearby called the Virginia Safari Park, and it is a lot like this. I never know whether to be really excited or deathly afraid. We've never hit any of the animals, but we've come super close. We've had a couple of ostriches stick their necks in the car, which scared the crap out of my niece.

So...there is a significant scratch and a slight dent under the scratch. Yep.
