I've decided to slow down. Take more time to stop, look around, appreciate the world around me. You know...smell the roses. Or in this case, make a u-turn on my road trip and photograph cows. Hey, cows, thanks for giving me a reason to stop.
I don't know how many times I've seen something picturesque when I was driving but didn't want to stop because Bella was in the back seat. Nothing like traveling solo to bring out the photographer in you. It's amazing what we pass by day after day and never realize it until we slow down and open our eyes.
Dawn - I know....I was thinking the same thing. And then I realized this was the ONE time the girls would have actually enjoyed this stop (but they weren't in the car with me). It always seems to work out that way.

I love this picture. Just caught up on a bunch of your posts, Christy. You are some talented.
we hear you got lost on the way home?
No...I didn't get lost. When I stopped for coffee, I followed a car down a one-way street. Not the same as getting lost.
Glad you're smelling the roses and cows! Ride a bike...you will notice more beautiful things that way.
This reminds me that I need to start carrying my camera in my car, because I constantly see things I want to take pictures of.
