hometown highlight
If I didn't live in my hometown, then I probably wouldn't find myself ducking into the lighting aisle at Lowe's in order to avoid a teacher from my former high school who moonlights at the hardware store. The same teacher who is nearly twice my age. And he's the same teacher who called to ask me to dinner just a couple weeks after I moved into my freshman dorm. How could I ever manage without this kind of excitement?!

No wonder you liked living in Chicago so much. No "blasts" from your past. =)
I know exactly who you are talking about.
Oh my. Hmmm, who could that be? You know, I was coming out of Lowe's a couple of years ago and ran into our chemistry teacher...you know, the one who yelled at me and told me I was wrong when in fact he was. Hell, what was his name???? Mr. Smith?
Must be something about Lowes.
Ooh, I'm curious. I never go to Lowes. I may just have to now :)
I still find that entire incident very, very creepy. Y-U-C-K!
And Jennifer, I do believe his name was Mr. Smith and I remember that incident. I remember how furious you were. I also remember that he loved that little elf who wanted to be a dentist from the claymation Rudolph the Rednose Reindeer. Strange the things our brains hold onto.
You make me laugh, I know exactly who you are talking about. That same teacher asked me out a couple times after high school and for the record, I have done the same thing w/ him in that Lowe's :)
Too funny
I am totally out of the loop on this one! And Shauna too? Who is this weirdo?
I'm curious too -- I think I know who this is but I'm not sure......that's just so gross!
Dude, I totally need to know who this teacher is. This is freaking me out.
I think I know who this is, and if it is who I think it is, he's married to my mom's friend now. Does it start with an M?
BIG NASTY!!! Find another Lowe's, Christy! Seriously. I wouldn't let that guy know you live around there. Seriously. I had no idea said teacher came onto Shauna too! That just makes him all the creepier! Good 'ole CCHS had some freaky deaky teachers that's for sure!
And I kind of liked Mr. Smith... dork that he was. But I TOTALLY remember the Jennifer B. thing! You were HIGHLY pissed, Jennifer. Glad to see you've moved on.
I guess I didn't think this one through. It never crossed my mind you guys would want to know who it was.
Jen B - You are correct.
Poor Mr. Smith. He was in over his head. Wasn't he a teaching fellow? I always felt that he was just serving his time before he got the heck out of a classroom. So...don't take it personally, Jennifer; he was just miserable in his career.
Oh poor Mr. Smith, just saw him today, thankfully from afar. But the creepy lowe's teacher has a beacon and can find me in this store at anytime. Wasn't it him that only call girls to the board--to look at their butts? And had the phrase "Over and down" with that weird accent?
Jenny, watch it with the freaky teacher comment!!!!
I am going crazy with curiosity!
I too ran into Mr.Smith a couple of years ago, but he wanted me to invest in something...very strange.
However, I am still waiting to see Mr.Sacco again, I am still in love with him as much as ever!
Didn't Mr. Sacco, date a student and went back to NY?
I don't even remember a Mr. Smith. I think the only teachers stuck in my noggin were the ones who brought guns to school.
Wait, I think that was only one teacher. But he was by far the most entertaining. And the dumbest.
