Dear Elly,

I can't believe it has already been a year since I wrote this and two years since you were born. You've become such a little girl in the past few months. A cuddly and cute little girl.

You tell breathy secrets that tickle my ear.

You always want to be held.

You let your position as the youngest in the family be known with your mantra "wait! wait!"

You still give slobbery open-mouth kisses (which I love).

You love to look at books.

You love to take walks around the neighborhood.

You make your sister laugh...and get on her nerves sometimes, too.

You are always so excited to see me, even if I have only walked outside to take out the trash.

Sometimes you like to be cradled like a baby.

You stomp around the house in your big sister's shoes.

You like to climb on the counter and turn on the faucet. (I really wish you would stop.)

You give wonderful hugs.

Time is flying by and you are growing up so fast. Happy birthday, sweet girl.
