morning adventure

A day with my crew is all...
Lions....
and tigers....
and bears....
and a pretty peacock....oh my!

The place we went today actually rescues a wide range of animals. Elly's favorite was the jaguar. She and that cat had a long conversation. I'm not sure what Elly trying to say, but I'm pretty sure the jaguar was saying. "See that raw chicken right there....that's my raw chicken. Don't even think about trying to touch my raw chicken." The group we were with moved on, but Elly stayed behind to finish her conversation.

Alex had surgery last Friday (he's uncomfortable, but fine), so the girls and I are trying to stay out of the house as much as possible, which is why I've been posting random mommy stuff this week. Sorry.

I'm still in shock seeing back to back blog posts of Canon with her hair fixed and clothes other than her strawberry shortcake dress! Crazy!

Looks like fun. I'm sure the girls are enjoying the adventures you are having while you're trying to stay out of the house for Alex's recovery.

Miss you.

Wait. You're posting random mommy stuff? Because, ummm, last I checked, YOU ARE A MOMMY! It's shocking when people post things on their personal blogs about their lives. Really shocking. Thanks for the splash of cold water this morning.

hahaha. I think that's my long, drawn out and very sarcastic way of saying, no apologies, my dear. You are a mommy and therefore, you're allowed to blog about your family.

For those of you who live in the area....it's Tiger World. Honestly I didn't do a whole bunch of research about their practices, but it seems like a decent place. They have rescued and provided homes for many animals. It's not like a zoo where the animals live in a "natural" habitat, these animals are definitely caged. But you get up close and personal to the animals. I used my regular lens to photograph them.
