five good things

1) hula seventy's postcard swap.  giving me a little creative project to get excited about.  not to mention all the goodies to be found in my mailbox later this summer.

2)  dinner and a movie with my husband tonight.  yay!

3)  yoga in the morning.  (or maybe sleeping in.)

4)  elly counting to three in the pool just before I throw her in the air.

5)  canon going down the water slide infinite times now that she swims well enough to do it by herself.

I pulled this idea from a shutter sisters post.  Finding five good things is so simple and yet so uplifting.  I think I'll make this a regular thing whenever I feel a little 'blah'.   Anyone have five good things you want to share?

I love the idea of five good things. so simple, yet so reviving.

1. blueberry pancakes and coffee this morning; 2. two entire days to take photos, garden and embrace doing nothing; 3. looking forward to r.e.m. this tuesday (in your area...are you going?); 4. experimenting with mixing the perfect mojito all weekend long;
5. ditto on the postcard swap, I can't decide what to do but am loving the swarm of ideas.

Yes, I think this is a great idea, too. I mean, we can all find something good, even when the days seem so bad. Here I go ...

1) I closed on the sale of my condo Friday!
2) I took two 3-hour naps on Saturday!
3) Dan and I are *this* close to picking out invitations for the wedding - another thing checked off the list!
4) Brunch with my Chicago bridesmaids today at one of my favorite restaurants!
5) SoMi has a playdate with her favorite gal pal, Gigi, this week and I get to hang out with Gigi's mom while the girls play.

Funny how easy the good things come to mind. Sad how easy they are to forget!
