Ever since I first saw this, I find myself cracking up throughout the day just thinking about my sisters and I doing this with our old home videos.
(I will preempt my sisters' possible comments by saying my dance would include lots of walking around in circles, waving, headstand attempts and some sort of chicken-ish neck dance.)

yeah, your dance routine would have been much easier to memorize. Walk in large circle, throw arms back behind the body and thrust head forward repeatedly. Repeat 20 times.
That's great! I was definitely one of those girls who turned on the music and danced like that!
I specifically remember a birthday sleepover in elementary school when my friends and I all dressed up in my dance costumes and assigned each other parts to the Dirty Dancing song, "Now I've Had the Time of my Life". I was Jennifer Grey's part and I made my friend be Patrick Swayze (it was MY birthday party, after all).
That was too cute! We so danced and sang to Dirty Dancing- I still have that movie memorized!
that video is hilarious!
Wow! I used to have the most intricate dances made up complete with back handsprings and cartwheels. I even knocked an entire glass jar full of marbles on my head during one of my crazy dancing escapades. Definitely brings back the memories.
Also makes me think about how I'd sit and listen to the radio for hours with my hand perched on the record button, waiting to hear my favorite song. Those were the days. How did we survive without iTunes?
I did the same thing as Dawn too...I would spend hours at my grandparents house with the tape recorder making mix tapes of my favorite songs on the radio.
Loved that video. Great idea.
