One day last week Elly woke up and either realized or decided that she wasn't a baby anymore. It was an overnight change. Now every time I turn my back she is climbing on something. She can climb onto the kitchen table in under 20 seconds. I'll be overjoyed with the novelty of this new accomplishment wears off because right now I'm spending the entire day telling her not to climb on the stool, coffee table, couch, table, piano and pulling her off of afore mentioned objects.
On the other hand, it's kind of nice having two big girls. Lately I've been leaving the back door open while I cook dinner. The yard is fenced in and I have a clear view of the girls from the kitchen. Watching them play together and come and go from the house as they please makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.
Sorry...that's all I've got right now. Due to illness we've basically been quarantined in the house for the past two weeks. And I think I just gave Elly pink eye, so we might be going for a third week at home.

too cute! She is growing leaps and bounds!
Love that picture of Elly licking the puddle. She is adorable!
How is it possible that it looks like she's a year older since the last time I saw her? Your baby will always be your baby, but you are right, she's definitely decided that she's a big girl now.
Give Elly a kiss from me.
Love you.
I love that you can see Elly's reflection in the water! Too cute! And, I don't know if this is true for you but Jacob was not a climber and Peyton was! People always told me that the 2nd child was a little bit more curious- I think I'm beginning to believe that!
