sickly sweetness

She hasn't eaten since Saturday morning.  I've spent each day since rattling off lists of things she might be interested in eating, but she politely declines each suggestion.  Today I mentioned cupcakes and her eyes finally lit up.  She took two licks of the icing and she was finished. Poor girl.

She is all cuddles and sweetness when she is sick.  It's heartbreaking. And yes...I'm blogging about illness because you can be sure that with two sick girls in the house, all we are doing is being sick and talking about being sick.  I'm totally helpless here, so I might as well write about it.  

{For the record, I took them to the doctor yesterday and they DO NOT have the flu.  So I'm officially off the hook with that little decision I made a few months ago not to have them vaccinated.  Whew.}
