Lately my independent girl has been clingy. She wants to be held a lot. She has started crying when I leave her. It is such a contrast to her "normal" personality. I can clearly see she is pulling out the stops for my attention. Today we spent a little one-on-one time together. I realized it's only the second time since Elly was born that Canon and I have had time to ourselves. I even got a little emotional over our Cici's pizza because I was reminded what a cool little person she is and how much I really love being with her.
And now I'm off to New York. I know I'll have a wonderful time, but I also know I'll be really glad to get home to my guy and my girls.
By the way...the kiss was totally Canon's idea. {sigh}
