Lately I've noticed we have been letting her stay up really late, just so we can hang out with her. We gather in the kitchen. She sits on the island countertop and the three of us talk and laugh. She is our cool, much younger roommate. Alex and I joke that we had kids so we could have fun little people to hang out with. But wait....isn't that why everyone has kids? Well, our investment is already paying off, because she is one fun little person.

countertop conversations

Curtis says that he had kids so that someone else can do the cleaning! I personally am with you. Although, having Cora learn to vacuum the floor will not be a bad thing.
She looks very content and happy to be up late spending time with her mom and dad!
And with those glasses, she is the spitting image of her daddy. Oh my!
we are very guilty of letting Trin stay up late so we can hang out with her too
