So...I know I mentioned Alex and I don't really get into Valentine's Day, but the truth is that we don't really do much gift-giving in general. There's something about having a shared bank account that sort of sucks the romanticism out of gifts for me. And although I know I contribute to this family, I'm not the one out there making the actual money (with the exception of my freelance gig), so I have a little trouble buying Alex gifts with the money he makes.
ANYWAY! I ended up with a very cool surprise this Valentine's Day. Check it....
It's a Lomography Fisheye #2 camera. It. is. so. cool. Even the box is cool. I must admit...I'm a little intimidated by this camera. It offers so many new photographic possibilities. I've never even imagined the world through the eye of a fish, so this should be interesting. I'm especially excited to have this camera in my bag during my upcoming trip to New York. Hopefully I'll end up with a picture something like this. Stay tuned for some fisheye pics.
And this cool little camera is just further proof that I am married to the coolest guy ever.
