Since my little blog is open for all the world to see, I check my site statistics every once in a while. I just want to make sure the people searching for "sister sister love" take one look my children's smiling faces and merrily bounce on their perverted way. So far, I've had no problems. Mostly I get a kick out of the google searches that lead people to my corner of the internet. That was...until this week.
A search for "raising children with a narcissist" led someone to my blog. For some reason reading this sort of took my breath away. Though intellectually I realize it was this post that brought up my site, I still don't like the idea of narcissism being related back to me or my role in this family. Even if I am a narcissist, I really don't want my google analytics shoving it in my face.
I'm really trying not to read too much into it. Especially considering some of the other searches that have led to my blog:
"pee on the ground"
"big bird slippers"
"my girlfriend sucks her thumb"
"c cup third grade"
"husbands being suckled at breast"
Um...yes. I'm still scratching my head over that last one. Thankfully these people quickly realized they weren't going to find what they were looking for here and clicked away.
I did notice many, many searches on the meaning of blythe and bonnie. I can't believe I've never explained the meaning of my blog title. Definitely the subject of an upcoming post.

I would love to know what your title means. I am still struggling with my title.
I have wondered where Blythe and Bonnie came from- glad I'll get to find out soon.
That is so funny. My stats are not nearly as entertaining as yours. I got a couple of hits for "Elmo makes music," "fast heartbeat toddler," and "miss clean." Yours are by far much more entertaining!
P.S. You are in no way, shape, or form narcissistic.
I have wondered what Blythe and Bonnie was since day 1. Instead of googling it, I'll just wait for you to explain. I can only hope it doesn't have to do with musicals. ;)
I think it's great you're using site statistics in the lightest of senses. Unless you're trying to make money off your site, the rest of us shouldn't really be bothered. It can only lead to no good!
