oh, jane

I'm a big Jane Austen fan (don't roll your eyes, please). So...I'm really freakin' excited that Masterpiece theater is airing adaptations of all her novels plus a biopic of her life. Really freakin' excited. Persuasion was the first piece in The Complete Jane Austen; I've watched it three times already.

There's something about the wanting. the waiting. the family complications. the wanting. the letter writing. the resisting. the wanting. the stares across the room. the untrue rumors. the wanting. that really gets me.

It's a good time of year for a little romance.

I love, love, love Jane Austen! I already watched Persuasion as well, even though I should have been writing a paper. I can't wait for more!

You know what's even better? Watching Masterpiece and knowing that my best friend is enjoying the same wonderful Jane adaptations!

Love you.

I don't know much about Jane Austen, musicals, or romance for that matter. Okay, maybe a little about romance. LOL But I do know I dig your new layout, love the bubbles.

LOVE LOVE LOVE the new masthead! You should keep a page for all your many mastheads as a reminder to those of us who blink and they're gone!

I'll leave Jane Austen to you. Not because I don't like her writing (I'm sure I read her stuff back in the day), but more because I'm not even sure I know what channel PBS is. hahaha (I kid).

Too bad I only have basic cable! :(

I'm liking the bubbles but I thought the sweet little heart shirt was too cute!

I bought mom the complete novels of Jane Austen for...well, no reason really, mainly because she stole my copy of pride and prejudice (the movie.) Anyway... hope to see you for Mema's birthday!!! She'll be so excited to see you girls. She carries around all the cards you've ever sent her that have photos of your girls in her purse. I found them over Christmas. Okay, I didn't "find" them so much as she showed them to me four times. She's real proud of her greatgrands... See you soon!
