the card

I know I missed a few people on my Christmas card list this year; for that, I am very sorry. Each year I vow to actually put together a mailing list well ahead of time, but when December rolls around I'm always sifting through old envelopes and looking up addresses online. Anyway...I thought I would share our Christmas cards from the past five years. There are only four cards though because there was that one year we were separated. Somehow I don't think a card that year would have spread holiday cheer. But anyway....here they are.
2003

2005

2006

2007

I glitter paint the light bulbs, but you get the idea. As you can clearly see, I have hardly changed a bit over the past five years. Yes...I think my husband's portrayal of me is quite flattering. And that is why I love him.

I also enclose a picture for 'Smith family overkill'. This is the only decent shot I got of the girls this year. But when I finished sealing my cards, I had a huge stack of pictures left. So...some people obviously didn't get the highly coveted photograph of my children. Shucks.

What a great collection of Christmas cards, and I love the fact that they are homemade by both of you.

the card looked great this year. and the girls are gorgeous. and as always, the lights were glittered superbly. but i was wondering, any chance you will ever get a nose on the family christmas card?

I have requested a nose, but I don't think Alex is up for the challenge. Maybe next year.

Our dog pretty much always needs a haircut. Poor, neglected Tzeitel.

Love seeing the evolution of Team Smith! I for one think you look great without a nose. And thank goodness Alex thinned out your eyebrows since 2003... sorry, friend, but you needed that! This year's card is definitely my favorite; LOVE crazy Canon!

And I'm also glad to see Alex's mullet has taken a hiatus.

Great card!!! I love that idea. Also, the picture of your girls is absolutely beautiful. I get lots of ideas from you! :-)

Nilsa - I thought your card felt a little light. I know you were just dying for a picture of my kids, sorry about that!

J.T. - Hmmm....I'm kind of afraid my eyebrows actually look more like 2003 in real life. Yikes!
