A mini-trip that seemed so fun in theory is now the source of so much anxiety. I'm leaving Elly for the first time this weekend. We've only been apart a couple daytime hours here and there...and never overnight. Not that she needs me during the night, but I sleep more soundly knowing she is near.
And the thing is...I know she'll be fine. Maybe that is what makes me most anxious.

Sometimes we need them more than they need us. Good Luck!
Parents have to take baby steps, too.
I know how you feel - I've been there with Bella before. Just take a deep breath and step one foot out the door. Feel free to cry in the car (I know I did). You'll feel fine before you know it and I know that Elly will do great.
Have a great weekend!
