Needing some blog inspiration this week, I decided to play along in hula seventy's color week. The idea is to focus on a different color each day while taking pictures. Today was yellow. It's so weird how this little exercise totally changed my perspective on the world around me. Objects that usually go unnoticed popped and glowed today as my eye was drawn to all things yellow. The above picture is my favorite, but I've posted a few more pictures here.--------------
On the home front...
Canon loves to help me, especially when Elly is concerned. Tonight as I was clearing dinner, I asked Canon to give Elly a few puffs (quickly-dissolving, fruit-flavored treats). I took the trash outside and came back to find this....
I love how Elly's little hands are overflowing with puffs. Like she knows it's too good to be true, so she grabbed as many as she could. And I love that Canon couldn't give her sister just a couple puffs. No...that would be cruel. She decided her baby sister should have all the puffs her little heart desired.

Canon is a good big sister. She doesn't want Elly to lack in anything!
