Canon got her first haircut today. She was very cute and excited about the whole thing. I couldn't believe how old she looked sitting in the chair. Today Elly had a first too. It was her first afternoon nap in the crib. Usually I hold her and we snuggle while she sleeps. She is teething right now and absolutely uncomfortable. I tried to cuddle with her, but she just kept working her way up to gnaw on my collarbone. I put her in the crib and she slept for a record three hours. Maybe she was trying to tell me something.

I love the fact that you were at the salon with Canon, Elly, & your mom! Three generations of Smith woman bonding over the beauty experience. It reminds me of "Steele Magnolias." Love you!
